Report on the Trial of Rikor Solorium / deceased?
by: Imperial Agent 5443067
to: Office of Intelligence
The trial took place on Korriban 120140217-162324
The trial was conducted in accordance with Imperial Statute CI-157-A
Presiding over the trial was Darth Inig Darkborne, Archon of the Dark Watch
The status of the Accused, one Rikor Solorium was previously listed as deceased. He was believed to have perished in the crash of the Harrower-class Dreadnought AT3643 known as The Blade on Tatooine in the Arkanis Sector on 120131227-212637. This classification was clearly in error. The individual appearing under that name has been verified as Rikor Solorium; noted sith warrior and former leader of the Lords of Shadow. Information regarding his return has not been released, but the most credible speculation appears to be that Rikor survived the crash, but in such condition that his death was assumed inevitable. Theories include severe physical and psychological trauma, comma, kolto emersion and re-generation and the use of Sith alchemical techniques.
The Accused was charged with having joined or given his support to a former associate and one time leader of the Lords of Shadow, Darth Rathor Pirrell in a conspiracy against the Dark Watch. Rikor utilized violent, lethal and fraudulent means to enter and seize control of the ship known as the Blade. Under his onus, said ship subsequently crashed on the planet Tatooine, destroying an Imperial Base R16 and resulting in a death toll of 957 individuals.
The Accused, Rikor Solorium, made no attempt to refute or deny these charges. He, further, refused an Offer of Challenge to initiate Trial by Combat when it was presented to him in the course of this inquest by Inig Darkborne. Consequently, Darth Rikor Solorium was found guilty and sentenced to fourfold Indemnification under Article 4980.
Among the disclosures accompanying this trial there was revealed a certain division among the ranks of the Dark Watch itself. Questions were raised as to the actions of one Flight Commandant Dennenia, former captain of the aforementioned starship, the Blade, who may have been acting outside of her authority with regard to Darth Rikor. In addition, there was some agitation among those witnessing the trial and a minor disruption which was quelled by Agent Veskin Pirrell. It is noted that this Agent Pirrell had been appointed an Advisor to Archon Darkborne within the Watch and that he stood with her throughout these proceedings.
Reactions to Darkborne’s decree were mixed although no one has come forward to challenge the verdict. Rikor himself appeared to accept it and spoke only of getting stated on the tasks ahead. It is to be noted, however, that there were several misinterpretations voiced by observers, including that the “preservation of a compensate number of lives in quittance” equated to the expectation that Darth Rikor would kill a total of twelve thousand Kor’slugs. Although, again, no formal objections have been raised.
The most severe dissatisfaction appeared to come from an as yet unidentified member of the Dark Watch itself. This man, who is described as being dressed as an off-duty agent and having white hair, was overheard to say that Inig’s treatment of Rikor as a whole was “malicious even for a sith.” Should need ever arise for action against the Order, despite its avowed purpose, this individual and others like him may prove significant.
